A special edition EasyCard was launched April 12 to celebrate the birthday of Mazu, the goddess of the sea goddess. The cards are produced by the EasyCard Corp, operator of Taipei City’s smartcard system that facilitates payment on the Taipei Mass Rapid Transit System and other public transportation services as well as at many businesses.
